For you, dear friends:

We wish for you:  Peace!  Joy!   And  a complete awareness of the freedom which may be yours - freedom from any suffering and from any anxiety whatsoever.  That is our wish for you,  our prayer for you.  And it  is   possible,  for you are totally in God  ( there is nothing outside of God ) and God is in all that you are.  In God everything is possible,  and there is no thing  ( nothing ) that is impossible.  Your faith is the measure of your capacity to receive God’s Grace in all things.  Your life here is your opportunity to achieve that ultimate faith that shall  “ give you His Kingdom, in earth as it is in heaven.” Faith is achieved through seeking it and practicing it  -  and it shall be yours.  Faith, as you expand it in yourself, may then be shared with others through your love for them.

Out of this sharing of faith and love grows unity.  Unity is the awareness that we are not separate from God, nor from the feeling and beings of others. WE ARE WHAT WE SEE IN OTHERS. As we recognize the Infinity of God expressing in others,  we recognize the Infinity of our own being and we are joyously one, a Unity  -  with all that is.  That which is truly a part of you is not lost when shared.  It is multiplied.

Let us share and multiply our awareness of wholeness,  our freedom from attachment.  Let us share and multiply all the peace we encompass,  the constancy of harmony, and above all,  let us share and multiply the love that gives without expectation, the Love  that transcends all appearances in the physical, the love that  is Love  -  beyond all expressions.  Let us seek this Love  within our own awareness.  Let us find that Love , and let us share that Love  one with another,  that it may be multiplied many fold.

“  . . . Peace on earth,  goodwill toward men.”
( Luke  2:14 )

This is widely recognized as a message of peace.  It seems to me,  however ,  that this affirmation puts the cart before the horse.   Peace does not spring force of its own volition with resultant good will for everyone.   If,  on the other hand, all men would sincerely practice good will toward all men,  then the results would naturally be peace  - an  enduring peace.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

You need not be deceived.   “ Beware of false prophets.”     “You shall know them by their fruits.”    “A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit,  neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.”    ( Matt.  7:15 ,   16,   18)    Though a man proclaim   “Our Father”     “Allah “    or    “Holy One “   and though he professes divinity  -  if he then turns on his fellow man,  rejects his fellow man,  or he fosters hatred and strife  -  if he arms his disciples and followers with weapons to enforce   his   “ rights,”   then he is not divine.                                                                                                      

If we,  you and I,  react in kind ;  if we respond with hatred and condemnation;  that what  “good will”   are we projecting ?                                                                                          
                                                                                                                                                                 We can not require , nor enforce,  others to prefer   good will, or to act in good will.  BUT, WE CAN DO OUR SHARE. 

We can disintegrate  wrath by projecting   pure uncondemning love  -  but we must first abolish the wrath within our own hearts,  else we shall project hatred instead; and multiply that.   

“ If you bring your gift ( your prayer ) to the altar  ( the inner closet of your mind )  and there recall that your brother has anything against you  ( including your inner judgment, your condemnation, all of him), leave . . . .  be reconciled with your brother   ( in your own heart ) ,  and then come and offer your gift.” (Matt.  5:23,  24) And your prayers shall be heard.   

Let your prayers project your goodwill toward men  - all men  !     Let that good will for all men fill your heart and your mind, and let your words be consistent with that tenet.  Let us share our goodwill that it may multiply and overwhelm with love the forces that would  tempt us to kindle within the reciprocated hatred toward other fellow man that leads to destruction, not peace.   

LOVE   YOUR   NEIGHBOR   AS    YOURSELF .  “ ( James   2:8  )        

LOVE YOURSELF !   And from that love your fellow man.   Your thoughts and expression of that love is your goodwill toward men,   AND,   THERE SHALL BE PEACE                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   
WISE MEN


The wise do not simply sit on their hands;                     
Nor yet gallup full rein o’er new ground.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

They take time to know the lay of the lands;                  
To observe that which at hand does abound.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

The wise are cautious in their proceeding;                      
Never reckless, feckless, unformed, and unfound.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

They serenely absorb and know their leading;              
Let others go in their haste to be crowned.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

Humans have not time to learn discreetly;                      
They rush among men;  a minstrel ,  a clown.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

The wise would experience the journey completely;   
Lest they pass by the gems to be found.                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

But who is the winner?   What is the goal?                     
Would we seek gold,  fortune,  fame, or renown?                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

The wise know the answer,  they seek to be whole,     
To know peace  . . . and love . . . all around.
