Two Chairs
One chair I sit in to meditate about these incidents
For the moment the other chair looks empty tho it is not
Heavy on my mind is how again did I falter into old ways
<3 <3 <3
My spirit says you are not alone today or ever
Sitting with you is Jesus and He loves you eternally
I shall always occupy the apparent empty chair
<3 <3 <3
Quietly Jesus and I sit in the splendor of our yard
Without realizing it calmness comes over me supremely
The birds chirping and the trees whispering are perfect
<3 <3 <3
With blessed assurance Jesus waits lovingly
As He does wait my thoughts start to clear somewhat
We continue to quietly sit together in our chairs
<3 <3 <3
Love and warmth and tranquility fills all time and space
Lowly Jesus says I know your pain and thinking
In you weakness you have made my strength grow
<3 <3 <3
My child I chose you before time began
Your pain and anguish I know and feel believe me
Trust me dear child your heavenly father upholds you
<3 <3 <3
Others may gossip and degrade you unfairly
Do you remember reading anywhere in my bible
That life would be all peaches and cream I know not
<3 <3 <3
So dear one lift your head high and listen to me please
Through all these trials and upsets you experience
There is an end in sight so truly pay attention
<3 <3 <3
Because of all your trials and tribulations you are ready
Now if you had not experienced all that has happened
How would you ever be able to reach out and help others
<3 <3 <3
With your new found awareness and my love you are ready
Look over here there is a crying mother distraught
Quietly sit with her and wait for awhile lovingly
<3 <3 <3
As she opens up to you love her with every fiber you have
Then validate her pain and start to share your experiences
Say this is what happened to me and how it affected me
<3 <3 <3
Spirit will guide you and your spoken words to her
She will mostly likely say I'm so sorry for your pain too
Together you both start to open up and share your faith
<3 <3 <3
As the moments pass by a deep bond develops between you
Now calmness fills the air and both of you sweetly
This is the reason you had to have your trials and incidents
<3 <3 <3
Always remember if you had no trials how could you help others
Maybe you feel this is a wrong way to learn these lessons
It works raise your head high and know others gossip is wrong
<3 <3 <3
Just keep trust and love of my father and I in your heart eternally
Know beyond a shadow of a doubt I am with you and in you
Now dear one go forth and reach out to help the hurting world

As I become more aware of my surroundings peace fills the air
Joy starts to leap within me and I dance on my patio
Now I know Jesus is always filling the Second Chair
